This site is run by IT Pro Touch for its clients' staff training and for Machen Academy.

What we store

• Your name and email address, received from Microsoft or Google when you sign in, and your organisation (taken from your email domain).
• Your course progress: lessons opened, knowledge-check attempts and scores, course completions, certificates, and earlier years' completions (kept as training evidence when a course is renewed).
• Activity logs (pages viewed, sign-ins, with IP address), used for support and security.

We do not store your Microsoft or Google password, and we do not use your data for marketing.

Where it is stored

The site runs on a server in a Contabo data centre in the European Union. Nightly backup copies (the five most recent) are kept on IT Pro Touch storage in the United States. Emails from this site are sent through our email provider (Emailit). The site may move to a US data centre later; this page will be updated when it does.

Who can see it

You, IT Pro Touch administrators, and the people your organisation names to manage training (for example its Site SPOC or manager) for your organisation's courses. Other organisations cannot see you or your results.

How long we keep it

Training records (completions, scores, certificates) are kept while your organisation uses this service, because they are your organisation's compliance evidence, and are deleted or handed to your organisation when it leaves. Activity logs currently have no automatic expiry; a retention period is being set and will be published here.

Your rights
